WHS Induction: Pre-Start Checks

Most work you do will involve the use of some sort of equipment from large plant items to hand held powered and non powered tools. Before driving or operating any large plant or using any equipment a pre-start check should be completed. This Pre-Start Checks induction module provides learners with the various checks that should be completed prior to turning on the engine, and further checks that should be carried out after turning the machine on. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the various parts of the machine that should be checked prior to operation and the danger of loose items in the cabin. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
