WHS Induction: Consultation

An environment of open and honest communication, as well as a combined and united approach towards safety issues, can not only improve a safety culture, but also prevent injuries. Consultation with workers allows management to make more informed, high-quality decisions concerning health and safety. This Consultation course will discuss the distinctive opportunity that workers have to influence the health and safety of their workplace by promptly reporting any safety concerns they may encounter. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the benefits of consultation within the workplace, and how hazard and incident reporting can impact the overall health and safety of the work environment. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
