Working at Heights

There is no doubt that working with heights is an extremely dangerous occupation and every day, someone somewhere is taking unnecessary risks. Falling from heights is a common cause of injury and death in workplaces. The risk of serious injury is significantly increased when working at a height that is greater than 2 metres. This Working at Heights course will make your workplace safer by reminding your workforce to plan, assess the risks and control those risks before working at heights. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt about risk identification using the relevant documentation, risk control measures using the Hierarchy of Controls and the importance of fall protection systems and devices. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
