Outdoor Worker Safety: Duty of Care

Workplace health and safety legislation states that organisations have a duty of care and are legally obligated, so far as is reasonably practicable, to provide their workers with a safe and healthy working environment. Similarly, workers have a duty of care to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of any other person who may be affected by what they do or what they fail to do. Aimed at outdoor workers, this Duty of Care course will not educate your workers on the safety rules they should adhere to, but also the benefits of an effective health and safety program. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt about your own health and safety obligations, and the importance of setting a good example.
