Listening with empathy is vital because it fosters genuine connections and understanding between individuals. When we listen empathetically, we not only hear the words but also grasp the emotions and perspectives behind them. This Listening with Empathy course features two scenarios, one showing improper behaviour and the other improved behaviour.
Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the importance of body language, listening until you can understand what the other person is saying and the meaning and the emotions that are behind their words. This course is one part of a 9 part Communication at Work Series aimed at all staff to enhance communication skills.
