Safety in Healthcare: Aggressive Behaviour (Workplace Violence)

In the health care environment, there may be times when we are faced with difficult or aggressive behaviour. In a workplace this can certainly increase stress, lower productivity and damage morale. This Aggressive Behaviour course aims to equip learners with the skills to navigate challenging situations effectively, mitigate stress, and maintain a positive work environment. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt about the LASSIE system, a structured approach to handling difficult behaviour. You will have also learnt the importance of maintaining emotional control by responding rather than reacting. This course is one part of our 20 part “Safety in Healthcare” series aimed exclusively at healthcare workers.
