Safe Work Method Statements

A successful hazard management program involves hazard identification, assessment of the risks and the implementation of control measures. A hugely important tool in the workplace is the Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) which is used for looking at the work task and considering what is the safest way to complete it. This SWMS course details the importance of the SWMS document and how to fill it out. It is a vital component of a workplace health and safety program. Once the course is completed, you will know when and why a SWMS should be used, how it should be completed and who should be involved in the preparation of the document.
