This Lifting and Carrying course is a general, easy to follow overview on the subject that will help protect your workers from musculoskeletal injuries by delivering a clear, concise, step-by-step approach to lifting and carrying. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt how to help minimise injury when lifting and carrying by using the correct muscles throughout the lift, as well as the importance of body positioning, spine stability and contraction of the core stabilising muscles. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
