Electrical Safety

Electrical accidents can occur at any time and can certainly kill or seriously injure you. Electrical hazards, unlike mechanical hazards, are not usually obvious; a “live” wire appears no different to a “dead” wire. This Electrical Safety course identifies the causes and consequences of electrical accidents in the workplaces and suggests various easy to follow measures to prevent them from occurring. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the importance of testing and tagging equipment, procedures for safe power tool use, and rules for preventing electrocutions. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
