WHS Induction: Protecting Your Hearing

Noise-induced hearing loss is a significant concern among workers, with exposure to excessive noise potentially leading to stress, fatigue, irritability, and the development of tinnitus. This Protecting Your Hearing induction module aims to highlight the diverse sources of excessive noise within work environments and to introduce various protective measures designed to mitigate exposure. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt how to minimise your exposure to excessive noise through practical strategies, how to fit hearing protection properly, and how to safely remove ear plugs. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
