WHS Induction: Confined Space Safety

Many workplace accidents occur due to the underestimated or disregarded dangers associated with working in confined spaces. Regrettably, incidents in confined spaces often result in multiple fatalities, with unplanned rescues and unprepared rescuers playing significant roles. This Confined Space Safety induction module will empower your workforce with the essential knowledge and competencies needed to ensure their safety when working in confined spaces. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt what constitutes a confined space in your workplace, the potential hazards and risks associated with entering confined spaces and the requisite procedures to follow before entering confined spaces. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
