Office Induction: Manual Handling

Manual handling injuries and illnesses can occur suddenly or over a long period. While they may not be as graphic as many other workplace injuries, they are certainly just as debilitating. This Manual Handling course will provide your office workers with a heightened awareness of the manual handling hazards they may be faced with every day, and ways of reducing the risks. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt what is manual handling, the common causes of a manual handling injury, how to conduct a risk assessment and what controls can be implemented to reduce risk and avoid injury. This course is one part of an 18 part Office Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing office workers.
