Mindset Matters

In the Mindset Matters lesson, you will learn that the most successful people are those who don’t fail but people who embrace failure in service of learning. People with a fixed mindset, one that sees abilities and talents as things we can do little to change, may fail at something and never attempt it again because they believe they’re not good at it. People with a growth mindset, a more flexible view that our abilities and talents can be developed through learning, effort, and persistence, may also fail, but they tell themselves they need to approach the situation differently, ask others for help in addressing the challenges, and believe that with greater effort they will succeed the next time.
