Build and Lead High Performance Teams

You can start by finding out what motivates the individual members of the team. You could ask them, “What do you want to get from this project?” or “Why are you here on our team? What is your role and how will it help us accomplish our goal?” A more effective leader might also find ways for each member to feel acknowledged at work. The first step in building a high performance team is understanding what makes up an effective working relationship - achieving success requires collaboration between individuals with different levels of experience, expertise and skill sets.
