Understanding Leadership

Leadership is the ability to lead and guide a group of people in accomplishing specific goals. Leadership can be applied in any area or context, such as business, education, sports management/coaching, etc. The most common form of leadership may seem like an art rather than science because it’s challenging to account for all situations that one might encounter when leading others; however, this comes with experience and constant practice on how best to handle different scenarios. There are many models which offer different perspectives into what makes up effective leadership while still being applicable across contexts.
