Closing Calls

The most common technique is to say “thank you for calling.” This phrase can be used if the call was long, or if there were a lot of questions that needed answering. The interviewer should take note of any possible follow-up calls they may have in order to make sure they are available when those potential clients need help. If the caller has stated something during the interview and this will not lead into anything further on their end, it would also be appropriate to thank them for sharing with them their thoughts or opinions before saying goodbye.
