Competency assessments are tools that allow you to monitor the performance of your employees, show who needs help and which ones are doing well. These assessments also give an overview of employee progress in relation to goals set by the organizational objectives. The goal is for each employee’s competencies and skillset as a whole or individually to be pertinent within their job role and any necessary tasks performed without difficulty or complaint beforehand so they can perform at peak levels when needed during times where there might be more pressure on them due alternative tasks assigned (such as busy periods).
