Appreciative Inquiry

A lot of times when we communicate, our focus is on what’s wrong and how to fix it. But modern-day communication can be about more than this. It can also be about celebrating successes, understanding your differences in feelings or opinions, accepting people as they are instead of trying to change them into something you want them to become. Modern communication is often characterized by the use of symbols which may have a fixed meaning that cannot always explain itself through words alone; these symbols take on many different meanings based on both their context and purpose within discourse among individuals engaged in conversation.
