The Concept of Civility

You will be introduced to the concept of civility, and the idea that even a little consideration can go a long, long way.
Civility and respect is present in a work environment where workers are respectful and considerate in their interactions with one another, as well as with customers, clients, and the public. Respect and civility are based on showing esteem, care, and consideration for others, and acknowledging their dignity.
Civility in the workplace reinforces many of the positive values of society, including tolerance and mutual support. Civility creates a pleasant working environment as well as a stable and productive organization.
