Ability to Learn from Criticism

It is important to learn how to take criticism in order for personal and professional growth. No one likes being criticized, but learning from it will make you a better person on both an individual level as well as on a more global scale. Criticism can be damaging when repeated or not accepted, especially if used by someone with greater power than that of the criticized individual who may use the opportunity to exert authority over others through destructive means. However, constructive criticism has been shown time and time again throughout history to result in great progress made by those willing enough to listen.
