Preventing Infant Abduction

Infant safety, as well as that of the mother, is the responsibility of the entire Obstetric (OB) staff. Staff members contribute daily to the safety and security of infants in several ways: identifying and detecting risk factors, educating parents and family members about abduction risks, and following practice prevention plans. These best-practices plans are designed to help prevent infant abductions before they happen. This course introduces you to the facts about infant abduction and contains the knowledge you need to help prevent future abductions.
