Age-Specific Competencies and Patient Rights

As different as we are, we share common developmental stages related to age. We expect to receive care based on our needs. We also expect that our rights as patients will be respected. Your responsibility as a healthcare employee is to understand and interact with patients based on their age-specific characteristics and rights. This course focuses on explaining the varying needs of specific groups of patients based on their ages. It also discusses the fundamental rights of patients.
