What is one of a manager’s key goals? One is to get work done through others. How does this happen? It comes down to job performance. Job performance is the measurement of how well people get their work done. Job performance has three parts: ability, situational constraints, and motivation. Identifying these three goals in your team will allow you to take steps in motivating them.
