SharePoint 2013 Developer, Part 06 of 15: Controls and Web Parts

Just as lists are the core data structure of SharePoint, user controls and web parts are the core UI elements of SharePoint. Here you will understand what their role is in the SharePoint UI. You will also understand how to build and deploy web parts that take advantage of the SharePoint’s rich personalization framework that allow users to customize them in the browser. After this course, you will learn new techniques for developing user controls and customized web parts in Visual Studio 2012.
Each LearnNowOnline training course is made up of Modules (typically an hour in length). Within each module there are Topics (typically 15-30 minutes each) and Subtopics (typically 2-5 minutes each). There is a Post Exam for each Module that must be passed with a score of 70% or higher to successfully and fully complete the course.
