Harassment Prevention Training (New York)

Sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discrimination are damaging to organizations, employees and society at large. This training will give employers, supervisors and employees in New York State, including New York City, a greater understanding of harassment and illegal discrimination, how they can be prevented, and processes to follow when a complaint is made. This course complies with both the New York City and New York State laws.
Topics covered include sexual harassment definition, illegal discrimination, federal, state and city laws, protected characteristics, employer policies, consequences of workplace harassment, compliant process, avenues of redress for employees, retaliation, prevention, responsibilities of both supervisors and employees, confronting harassment, bystanders, and the latest legislation.
