All employees deserve a workplace environment that’s free of violence, discrimination and harassment. This course discusses those negative behaviors along with your responsibilities in supporting your workplace policies. We begin with a clear definition of what constitutes harassment, discrimination and workplace violence. You will learn about the particular procedures in place within your organization for dealing with incidents of harassment. We also discuss your own responsibility as an employee for following the rules. You will learn about the protections in place for everyone – including protection from reprisals for anyone reporting a negative incident to their manager or the HR department. By the end of this course, you will know how to set an example by strict adherence to your company’s policy. You will also know how to act if you are a victim of negative behavior or you observe such behavior toward others.
