This course teaches you how to safeguard yourself from identity theft by recognizing the warning signs of illegal activity and implementing a pro-active approach to protecting your personal information. This module looks at the most common forms of identity theft, as well as the tricks and tools perpetrators use to access your personal information. You will learn the basic terminology surrounding this type of fraudulent activity, know how to recognize the warning signs, and pick up simple steps you can take on a daily basis to safeguard your personal data.
This 60-minute course features narrated video and includes self-assessment quizzes to help clarify your knowledge of the course material. A Certificate of Completion is available upon finishing a final test with a score of 80% or higher.
