The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) training program outlines the key principles of this U.S. law and the standards for compliance all employers need to be aware of. In this course, we’ll explain the terms ‚Äúdisability” and ‚Äúqualified person” as defined by the ADA, and summarize an employer’s responsibilities to provide reasonable accommodations and equitable job qualification standards. we’ll also cover how the ADA applies to the hiring process and post-hiring situations, such as medical examinations.
