AI and Discrimination

As AI technology continues to improve, there is a growing tendency to outsource choices — including those that affect people’s livelihoods, health, and financial well-being — to AI models. But poorly developed AI models can create inherent biases that lead to unfair treatment for certain types of people. This course discusses how these biases can be recognised, and what can be done to fix them.
