Introduction to CSS Training

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) describes how HTML elements are to be displayed, either on screen, on paper or in some other media. This course teaches you how to use CSS. You’ll begin by discovering the time-saving benefits offered by CSS. You’ll learn CSS syntax, the use of tags – and how to avoid using deprecated tags and attributes. We’ll discuss common properties and values and how to create custom CSS cursors. You’ll discover how to create CSS Buttons and work with borders, margins and padding. Finally, you’ll learn how to use CSS for styling tables.
By completing this course, you’ll have a good understanding of how CSS works and how to use the different properties and values to set styles when formatting HTML pages. The course uses the latest CSS3 methods throughout.
