General Industry Safety Overview

This course provides essential guidance on identifying and mitigating common workplace hazards. Topics include bloodborne pathogens, PPE requirements for eye, face, hand, foot, hearing, and respiratory protection, as well as proper fire extinguisher use and ladder safety inspections. The course also covers forklift awareness, lockout/tagout procedures, hazard communication, and confined space protocols. Learners will gain practical knowledge to improve workplace safety, reduce risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Through an interactive simulation, participants navigate a virtual warehouse to identify common hazards, enhancing visual literacy and hazard recognition skills, and ensuring safer workplaces and overall employee well-being.
