Protected Characteristics

Protected characteristics are aspects of a person’s identity that make them who they are. Every one of us has more than one protected characteristic. If an employee is treated less favourably because of their protected characteristics, this could have big consequences for you and your business. Show respect and tolerance of those you work alongside who have different characteristics to your own.
