American Land Surveying – A History

American Land Surveying has a grand and sometimes tumultuous history. Bold personalities have been attracted to the work. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Daniel Boone, Abraham Lincoln, Henry David Thoreau all worked as surveyors. Theirs were often the original footsteps which surveyors for generations afterward have retraced. This interactive online course traces that history from Ancient days to today.
