Leadership and Ethics: Conflicts of Interest

In Thirty Minute Mentors: Leadership and Ethics: Conflicts of Interest, we’ll learn more about how to avoid those problems. This course series features Lieutenant General Reynold Hoover, a retired three-star Army general who served as the deputy commander of the United States Northern Command (the command that serves as the primary defender against a potential invasion of the United States). General Hoover was also a senior intelligence service officer with the CIA, a Homeland Security Adviser to the White House, Chief of Staff of FEMA and an adviser to the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. He also worked as a special agent with the ATF, was a lawyer in private practice and worked as an executive for a Fortune 500 Company.

In this course, host Adam Mendler asks General Hoover for his advice when it comes to how organizations can avoid conflicts of interest. Listeners will learn more about how conflicts of interest come about through unethical leadership and how to navigate uncertain situations based on General Hoover’s expert advice.
