The Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989, commonly known as the WPA, is a U.S. federal law that protects federal whistleblowers who work for the government and report agency misconduct. This course provides and overview of the WPA and WPEA.
Be informed. The law prohibits personnel practice for an agency to take, threaten to take, propose, or not take a personnel action (disclosure) because of whistleblowing activities.
