Discrimination violates a person’s dignity. It’s a sign of prejudice and harassment that often goes unnoticed because of perpetrators’ and victims’ lack of awareness. Discrimination and harassment affects the workplace, leading to poorer performance, demotivation, hostility and distrust. The work environment becomes toxic and hostile.
