Neurodiversity at Work: 05. Supporting Clients

Neurodiversity is a less-often considered type of diversity that is present in the workplace. Increasing our understanding of neurodiversity will strengthen our organization and, at the same time, allow our neurodivergent colleagues to perform to their potential. Small environmental adaptations can pay huge dividends in productivity and morale. Learning how to be a more mindful and supportive ally will benefit everyone.

If you’re in a customer-facing position, it’s likely that you’ll interact with neurodivergent clients multiple times a day. By developing a better understanding of neurodiversity and taking on board practical suggestions, you can improve your neurodivergent customers’ experience.
