Neurodiversity at Work: 04. Supporting Coworkers

Neurodiversity is a less-often considered type of diversity that is present in the workplace. Increasing our understanding of neurodiversity will strengthen our organization and, at the same time, allow our neurodivergent colleagues to perform to their potential. Small environmental adaptations can pay huge dividends in productivity and morale. Learning how to be a more mindful and supportive ally will benefit everyone.

We are customers to each other, which means we should treat all of our colleagues with the respect they deserve. When considering neurodivergent coworkers, there are a variety of factors that can be considered to build better relationships and create an optimal working environment.
