How to Be a Terrible Team Member: The Socially Inept

People’s behavior in the workplace can negatively impact the performance of those around them. In this course we’ll identify how traits of “The Socially Inept” co-worker can destroy morale. Also known as “The Creeper”, this person lacks the self-awareness to know when certain actions are inappropriate. This co-worker makes life awkward at work, which can lead other team members to refuse to work with him or her. We’ll discuss the impact of these actions and the stress that can result when our personal boundaries are ignored.

This course cleverly uses actors from an Improv group to demonstrate the boundary-crossing characteristics of the “Socially Inept” in a short, entertaining video.
