Emergency Action Plan: EAP Response

This course is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate immediate responses to incidents in various workplace environments. Participants will explore the critical “fight or flee” decision-making process, emphasizing the importance of employee training and understanding the work environment. The course delves into strategies for handling common workplace hazards, such as fires, and provides insights into the debate surrounding whether to handle incidents internally or evacuate immediately. Additionally, it covers procedures and considerations for sheltering in place, particularly in the presence of chemical, biological, or radiological exposures.
