Personal Protective Equipment – Respiratory Protection: Program Evaluation

This course emphasizes the importance of respiratory safety in the workplace, focusing on the collaboration between employees and supervisors. Participants will learn about the necessity of informing employers about preexisting health conditions related to the upper respiratory system and the mandatory full medical evaluation for respirator use. The training covers annual requirements, such as Fit Testing Reviews, and stresses the rights of employees to access the written respirator program and be aware of associated workplace hazards. Employers are highlighted as responsible for annual assessments of the written respirator program, workplace assessments, and fostering regular communication between employees and supervisors to ensure a safe work environment.
