Bloodborne Pathogens: Exposure Response

The Bloodborne Pathogen Incident Response and Safety course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in situations involving unintentional exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Participants will learn the critical steps to take immediately following an exposure incident, emphasizing the importance of informing others, securing the area, and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE). The course further educates individuals on proper containment procedures, self-care after exposure, and emphasizes the need for professional cleanup and disposal to mitigate ongoing risks.
