Veterans Day (U.S.)

Veterans Day is often confused with Memorial Day. While Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United States, Veterans Day recognizes all veterans. An essential aspect of inclusion is being culturally sensitive and open to learning about how different communities and populations have experienced and influenced American history. In this course, you’ll learn about the significance and origins of Veterans Day. You’ll also be introduced to some celebrated veterans in U.S. history. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to identify ways to participate in the observance.
