Preventing Unlawful Harassment (College and University – Employee)

Designed specifically for non-managerial college employees, this training course covers harassing workplace behaviors and what to do next if you witness or experience harassment. To begin, we’ll outline the laws and policies created to prevent the discrimination of protected classes at your educational institution. You’ll learn about quid pro quo and hostile environment harassment, and review when, where, and how harassment can occur. We will also review employee and employer responsibilities for preventing and reporting harassment.

The 30-minute course features engaging audio narration, resource links, and scenario-based exercises illustrating real-world examples of illegal workplace harassment. A final online test allows you to conveniently review and evaluate your understanding of workplace harassment.
