People-Focused Leadership: Be a Learner

Think back to when you were younger. Constantly asking questions, sometimes silly, sometimes profound, but with an open mind because their imaginations aren’t yet constrained by habit or previous knowledge.

This is also the mindset of an innovative and compassionate leader. Most leaders are experts in something - or many things - but a Learner never settles for mastery. Why do leaders need to be Learners? Because continuous learning means growth in skills and abilities, but also in experience and understanding.
