Design Thinking and the tools we learned about in Understanding Customers are great to get a deep understanding of customers and share that with others on your team. The intention of this module is to finally make the connection to what we want to build i.e. the Solution on also what kind of value we generate for our organization. The Product Goal - and the tool we introduce here - help bridge the gap between Problem, Solution, and Business Value. Only if you manage to connect your product initiative with your business targets will you get the resources needed to develop the product.
