Workplace Health and Safety (Canada)

Throughout this course, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of Canada’s health and safety regulations, common workplace hazards, and the best practices for maintaining a safe work environment. We will explore the legal duties and responsibilities of employers, workers, and regulators, ensuring that everyone understands their role in promoting workplace safety. Additionally, we will discuss workers’ rights, including the right to know about workplace hazards, the right to participate in safety initiatives, and the right to refuse unsafe work. You will also learn how to file a health and safety complaint and the protections available to you against retaliation from an employer. The course will take around 20 minutes to complete and is designed for use on desktop, laptop, mobile and tablet.
