Introduction to MSHA

This course provides an overview of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 and the formation of the Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA). Learn about MSHA’s mission to promote safe and healthful workplaces in the mining industry, the standards and regulations they enforce, the inspection process, and the rights and responsibilities of both employers and workers under the Mine Act. The course will take around 9 minutes to complete and is designed for use on desktop, laptop, mobile and tablet.
