Contingency Planning

Successful businesses assess risks to determine whether the potential rewards are worth the potential adverse effects. This is more difficult to do when the risk occurs unexpectedly. In this course, part of the Business Planning series, you’ll learn how to assess risk and how a risk assessment matrix can be used to plan for contigencies. You’ll also learn the importance of planning for disasters and what is included in a Disaster Recovery Plan. At the end of this course, you’ll be ready to take a proactive approach to risk, rather than reacting to risk after it happens.
