A typical business planning process involves several steps and this course, part of the Business Planning Series, covers the first three analytical steps: situation analysis, external analysis, and gap analysis. You will learn about the internal focus of situational analysis and the outward view of external analysis. After analyzing your organization’s strengths, weaknesses, and historical performance alongside that of your competitors, barriers to entering and exiting the market, and applicable regulations, you will be able to perform a gap analysis.
